Jos: Fresh violence after Angwan Rukuba attack
Residents of some areas in Jos, the capital of Plateau State in the north-central region of Nigeria, are living in fear following another outbreak of violence on Wednesday.
This incident comes just days after an attack by armed men in the Angwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area, which resulted in the deaths of at least 26 people and led the government to impose a curfew in the area.
The Wednesday attack occurred in parts of the Jos metropolis, with local reports indicating that at least one person has been killed. Panic has since spread across several neighborhoods in Jos North.
