How we work

Our Verification Process

We track official statements from security agencies or government authorities, and reports from trusted humanitarian or civil society organizations

Source Screening & Credibility Assessment

Before any incident is published, we evaluate the credibility of the source. Unverified social media claims or anonymous reports are not published without further corroboration.

Cross-Verification & Data Triangulation

Each incident must be confirmed through at least one additional credible source wherever possible. If figures differ across sources, we clearly indicate ranges or mark them as “under verification” until confirmation.

Geo-Referencing & Final Review

Once verified, the incident is geo-coded and reviewed before publication. Only after passing this final review is the incident published on the TrackLine dashboard.
